After the continuous work of our members that started as a dream, we are SO happy to announce this conference that is being put on BY and FOR students of color!

The Students of Color Environmental Collective at UC Berkeley is hosting a FREE, full day conference on environmental justice on February 2, 2019 to foster and support an intersectional environmental movement that inspires and amplifies the voices of underrepresented folx.

GETTING HERE

SCECon 2019 will be hosted on campus at the University of California, Berkeley.


Attendees will be from all across California and travel may be difficult for some, due to cost.


In recognition of this, we intend for this conference to be as barrier-free as possible. This conference is free of cost to attend and a light breakfast, full lunch, and dinner will be provided.


Limited travel grants are available and first priority will be given to students within California. To apply for travel grants and housing, indicate your needs on the registration form by January 15th and we will contact you shortly to make arrangements. The sooner you contact us with your needs, the more able we will be able to assist, so contact us as soon as possible.


Travel grants outside the state of California will be handled on a case by case basis.
